Welcome to the International Students' Council!

The International Students’ Council is a representative group within Victoria University of Wellington. It is an umbrella organization whose members are representatives from each international student organization. ISC is supported by your Students’ Association (VUWSA), and is a direct voice to VUWSA and Victoria University on issues that affect international students..

You can check here throughout the year for updates on events around the University, especially those organized by the International Student Council.

The objectives of Victoria International Student Council is to

  1. Create an environment where international students are able to approach us in issues regarding their welfare. We provide support to them

  2. Create an atmosphere where different students from different ethnicity, background, country and different walks of life are together as one. We organize events both social and educational events

  3. Last but not least we want all international students studying at Victoria University to feel at home

We are always looking for new members and volunteers, and any help is appreciated. The ISC can be a great way to meet new people from different countries; all international students at Victoria are in the same situation, and university life is easier when you have support from friends who are facing the same problems and situations as yourself.

This year, we hope to put on meaningful activities and events for international students to enrich their social, cultural and academic experiences.
